Hello all!

My name is J, I'm from the UK, and I've been playing (barely) Bretonnians since 1997. The recent launch of The Old World, with the first new Bretonnian miniatures for 20 years, has rekindled my love of the hobby.

Mostly I'm a miniature collector rather than a player, my few attempts having ended with the utter destruction of my forces. Knights of the Realm don't do so well against a Skaven Verminlord. Who knew.

The knight in my avatar is my conversion of the 5th edition special character "The Knight of the Perilous Lance." For anyone interested, I've attached a larger image to this post.

Sweet conversion and exquisite green stuff work! Before I saw the caption I thought this was going for a The Green (Stuff) Knight joke.

Welcome back! I'm excited to be playing Warhammer again as well! Getting slaughtered isn't too much fun. I've slowly been putting more effort into painting and less into gaming for a while as well.

Welcome!

Thank you for the welcome, Shadow Walker and Warptide.

And thank you for the compliment, Warptide. I've always been more of a sculptor/painter than gamer.

This conversion was completed about ten years ago, but the end of WHFB (and Bretonnia) in The End Times caused me to pack everything away. I'm just glad I didn't sell everything!

"The Dakka Dive Bar is the only place you'll hear what's really going on in the underhive. Sure you might not find a good amasec but they grill a mean groxburger. Just watch for ratlings being thrown through windows and you'll be alright." Ciaphas Cain, probably.
