Hey, I'm jordan from the UK, I'm 22 years old have begun collecting warhammer within the last year or so. I mainly collected space marines and Tau but have begun acquiring other armies including the Tyranids and Death guard.
I've had bad experiences on reddit with asking questions that, while not smart, I didn't think was that stupid. So how are questions like 'Does a unit with leader keyword act as part of the unit, for example 9 assault intercessors with a primaris lieutenant making a ten man squad?'

Yeah, people can be rude.
For that question, yes, a Leader is part of the squad until the Bodyguard unit is destroyed.
Though, with how points work right now, there’s generally no reason to take 9 Intercessors-10 cost the same amount.

Awesome, thanks for the information. I admit the question I asked could be framed better but the mod who replied was very sarcastic and snarky for almost no reason. He tried to say I hadn't reas the rules on the leader keyword despite the fact I had and was only asking for clarification for the short explanation provided.

Try not to let it get to you.
And hopefully the people you play with are worlds nicer!

While people on this forum can be a bit prickly with each other I've never seen anyone be rude to a newbie here. We were all new once after all. As long as you ask your questions on the right board you should be OK.

Welcome! The forum has a dedicated section for rule questions called you make da call.
While you might encounter the occasional bad tempered dakkanaut, most of the time, people behave themselves here.
