I’m leaning heavy into Kruleboyz, as I’ve been having tons of fun painting a Killaboss on Vulcha. Just gotta prime up and paint the rider and get him on the mount.

A discounted AoS3 boxed set and a subscription to Stormbringer has me flush with Kruleboy and Hobgrot goodies.

I feel like Spearhead is a definite.
I’ve got exactly what’s needed for the Stormcast, Skaven, Sylvaneth and Ogres for it. I guess maybe Vampire Counts stuff too might make something.

My Stormcast stuff is all of 3rd and 4th boxes so all good.
Then it’s just the older stuff from 2nd I need to figure out.


These characters. Some are gone. I can’t remember which offhand. But I’ve gotta decide on what to use them as instead rules wise, I’m sure there’s a character similar to each model wise etc..

Same with these guys. I mean the Ballista is screwed, but the others might be able to have a sneaky alternate use mayhap.

Once I can sort that out. Maybe I’ll go bigger with those for AoS 4!

I picked up the units needed to get my nighthaunt able to field the spearhead. I might flesh them out for small games (1,000-1,500 points). They are basically the soul wars box with a few extras at this point.

I plan of picking up the soulblight spearhead and working that into my main army. I’ve got a bunch of legacy stuff from WHFB, cursed city, and odds and ends. So getting up to a full force should be doable.

And like others, done in time for 5th edition.

Skaven preview has me tempted. Very tempted.

I once had a substantial Skaven army, but it was stolen whilst I was on the GW Management Training Programme. Still a bit of a sore point, but this might be the trigger.

Take the plunge and grab yourself a Skaventide box. You can play around with Spearhead to start with.

Now is also the best time to grab it - esp if you find copies on FB trade groups. Heck if I were getting into Skaven I'd grab 2-3 copies of the Skaven half at the very least plus some extra clanrats

I do love the new Skaven models but I haven't finished painting the CSM army I've been collecting for the last, oh damn, 12 years - so I don't think it would be sensible to go for a horde!

I really need to finish off my Daughters of Khaine Snake Lady army - and probably add a bit to it as well. I'd quite like to play some more AoS but I kind of need a nearby games club to go to...

Quickly collected, assembled and painted a Kruleboyz army since 4th dropped. Played a 1K tourney with a painted army, now working to finish painting my army for a 2K this coming weekend.

I need to get a few new units painted up for my Gitz.

After the Gitz's 1st up-hill run in with Blades of Khorne a few weeks ago - a victory, but a damned hard fight - I went looking for some heavier firepower (mostly as in, "OK, how much do my Doom Divers cost this time around").
And found that GW has purged the Doom Divers from Legends. :(
I can however use that Krule Boy Regiment of Renown with the Kill Bow & 2x3 Man-skewers. I just needed another unit of skewers.... So a trip to the shop & a bit of building followed.

I also added in 1 Dankhold Trog.

In the rematch with Khorne yesterday? Both new editions proved their worth & directly contributed to a resounding Gitz victory. As did a freshly built unit of fanatics.

So a 13 models to get painted up asap.
