So from what I read does this mean I can have 3X plasma pistols in a squad of ten? 1 plus a heavy melee weapon, plus for every 5 marines I can equip a plasma pistol and chainsword? So I could have 3 in a squad. Also it states that 1 marine can also have a heavy melee weapon so I would want to take him out last with the sergeant so could I put the plasma pistol on him with the heavy melee weapon

1X Sergeant plasma pistol & heavy melee weapon
1X marine plasma pistol & heavy melee weapon
1X marine plasma pistol & chainsword
7X marine Bolt pistol & chainsword

Is this right?

Yeah from the index although I hear in the new codex they haven’t really changed much so shouldn’t run in to any problems

The codex arrives on Sat so ignore the index.
Unless of course you have to put this unit on the table today - Fri....

Likewise don't ever build/plan on what you've "heard". Build/plan once you read the actual rules.

Just seen art of war discuss them in their unit rankings and it does appear you can still run them the same load outs so I’m all good cheers
