I based my approach on advice from this video, having had the same issues as one of the commenters mentioned in the beginning.

I shook my bottle violently with a stone inside, I warmed it up in hot water and I warmed the surface with a hairdryer.

It still dries up as glossy, watery diarrhea wash. It looks nothing like the rich, dry, textured rust in Peachy's videos 😦 Any other solutions I could try?
