So for a while now I've had one of those Battlefoam magna-racks on my table (actually two before I got a larger case to fit one fully into). They honestly work great at giving me more storage space on the table to put models; however they have no cover on them at all. Models on the shelf get dusty.

So I want something that's sealed, has tiers and fits on a desk

I have something like 40x60cm of table space to use.

So far looking for shelving just has me looking at regular shelving furniture, which is way too big or tied inserts to add more layers to an existing shelf - which are also no good as they've no cover on them so the dust remains an issue.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions for something that would fit this use.

Ps yes this is 100% one of those "oh if you had an FDM printer you could design and print it yourself" things and no I don't have an FDM printer

Ikea's Kvissle is cheap, space efficient, and magnet-enabled. Maybe you could get plexiglass cut to size to cover the front?

I found a solution and its not a rack or shelving unit!

It struck me that basically I can hunt around for a shelving unit that might require modification to work; or I could get something that's already air and dust sealed (pretty well enough at least); stacks up easily and is clear so I can see what's inside.

The Really Useful Box 24.5Litre box!
It's almost perfectly sized for the table space I've got; tall enough that it can hold cavalry with a standard or a modest small flying unit; it stacks up; it keeps out dust!

I've got two and I might well add another two to finish up! Not small, but easy to use; heck I could even line them with a magnet/metal sheet in time once more of my range are magnetized on the bottom.

They won't hold big things, but for a lot of the average sized models they will!!
