Essentially as title. I am playing in a combat patrol tournament on friday with the imperial guard, and with the new changes to stratagems in the balance dataslate I’m a bit confused as to how I should approach the “send in the next wave” stratagem. Does the change in the dataslate to make this kind of strat once per battle still apply here, or do those balance changes only apply to regular 40k?
Any ideas very much appreciated,

I am going to say no.

Combat Patrol is meant to be a separate game from from regular 40K, though they use the same basic rules, so each patrol has it's own unique ability, enhancements, secondaries and stratagems.

The changes in the balance dataslate are just for the main game and don't apply to Combat Patrol. They may make a balance dataslate for Combat Patrol in the future and any changes will be in there.

That said, if you're playing in a tournament you gotta ask the organizers.
