I figured while I normally post in the P&M Threads I should post my finished army pics here as well so that I can consolidate all the finished work, especially as my goals include finishing armies and not starting new ones.

Here's my Lydian Insurgency Force.

The Lydia system, home to several habitable and relatively useful planets for the Imperium, has been driven by war after a splinter fleet from the Sabbat Worlds Arch-Enemy Crusades diverted into the system. Composed primarily of Sons of Sek infantry forces, bolstered by local levies and an elite Blood Pact strike force, their invasion took the system by surprise, quickly capturing critical mining facilities on Lydia IX (Miral) and nearly seizing the system capital on Lydia IV. Only a spirited defense by the fortunately in-system Arcadian 4th and local forces (the Lydian Lancers, I Division PDF) ensured the capital remained in Imperial hands. Defections among other PDF forces have been downplayed by sector command. Counter-Insurgency efforts are ongoing.

Spoiler:

Not to be outdone by their Blood Pact allies, the Sons of Sek have gathered their own elite forces, backed up by hordes of mutants, crazed cultists, and local pdf turncoats.
Spoiler:

The hordes of infantry only grow as the conflict rages on.
Spoiler:

Finally, the leaders have been tentatively identified by their imagery, but less so by their names.

Thanks for viewing!

Hi all,

Here's my Thousand Sons army! I've been working on finishing all my armies, so I'm using this thread to post them when they're finished. To be fair, this one has been done for a while, but now there is 'proof'.

Multiple reports from intelligence sources blame the machinations of the Thousand Sons for diverting the Sons of Sek and Blood Pact splinter fleet to the Lydia System. In particular, the Thousand Sons seem particularly interested in an ancient temple complex on Lydia II, locally know as Pelatar's Mire. This Class C Jungle Planet is considered to border the line between a death world and simply a world where most people would simply not go. Explorator elements of the Adeptus Biologus believe several ancient human empires once used the world for a locus of spiritual worship. Regardless, the presence of the Thousand Sons and the lack of reply by the handful of Explorator outposts on the planet is a problem the local Imperial officials have been forced to ignore, considering the ongoing insurgency on Lydia Prime.

Spoiler:

A handful of servo-skull images demonstrate that the Thousand Sons have brought in a handful of allies, dupes, or perhaps, distractions, in their efforts to distract imperial forces.

These elements have been sited on various other planets in system, but otherwise, there has been no word from the Lydia II.

I decided that, to help keep me accountable, I'd post my army each quarter as it grows. This way I can show off what I've accomplished in one place, without all the WIP pics.

Completed thus far for the year - 56 miniatures (bombard is not vehicle sized, so doesn't net me 'more imaginary points.'

6 Knights of the Realm
20 Mercenary Crossbowmen (Border Prince Brigands)
24 Longbowmen
1 Bombard & 5 Crew

First up, family pics!

The first unit of knights rides to war! - Ser Alejan's Lances

Borganzino's Ballistas - Mercenary Crossbowmen (Counts As Border Prince Brigands)

Captain Cilpen's Culvern (A lightweight bombard, he tells you!)

Finally, Scioparto's Longfeather Bowmen

They still need their movement train cleaned up a bit, and their 8x3 tray painted up, but overall, pretty good!
