Was thinking today about some of the folks I used to exchange messages with on Warseer, which was the only forum I regularly visited up until its demise.

Feel very nostalgic about folks like mrtn, who was a mod on the now defunct Herdstone forum as well, and had a very excellent plog for his beastmen. Also a user called Godzooky, I noticed there's an account here with that name that is completely unused. He was one funny guy.

Any other forum veterans missing those we've left behind?

Whenever I review old parts of my blog I wonder what the guys who used to post regularly are up to these days. Not necessarily big names or huge posters, but they made an impact in my corner of the world.

For the old Da WAAAGH! Forum, we had quite a few grognards but they were great repositories on info for older Ork lore and they were right on the pulse of how to properly reflect Orks in terms of rules for both Klanz and different units without them coming off as too wish-listy or overpowered. Their fan rules were really great and seeing some of their collections throughout the years was a sight to behold. Sadly, I think most got pretty disenfranchised after the lows of the 7th edition Ork rules and codex and I don't really know where most of them are at this point.
