Hey all,
Does anyone here use Legion builder to play around with list building? I have a feeling that there is a bug as I don't see how I attach dedicated transport as a detachment upgrade. What am I missing?

Dedicated Transports are their own entry when selecting formations. your supposed to by as many Rhinos (for example) as you need, no more.

Remember, 'Dedicated Transports' are a separate formation (and issued their own order token), not an upgrade. They just happen to carry those guys around.

In fact I understand the rules from the rule book. Specifically the description on page 129. My problem is that I can't see how to add dedicated transport as an upgrade to a detachment in legionbuilder.app.
As described, dedicated transports make their own detachment within the formation. This is not the same as the transport detachment that is optional in a lot of formations, it is a special detachment the has a bunch of special rules as you described and is further describes on page 129.

The option appears in various places, for the aerial assault or drop pod formation it as the bottom of the options, for Rhinos it is at the end of the choices.

Sure I understand. But the Dedicated Transports are not an upgrade. At all. So they don't appear as an upgrade to a formation in Legion Builder.

I don't have Photobucket, etc so.... for example:

Open Legion Builder
Add formation
Select Legion Demi-Company
Under 'optional slots' (right above the 'choice slots' title bar) is 'Vanguard' and 'Dedicated Transports' formations. Just select how many transports you need.
There is no 'in-app' method for attaching it to a infantry formation.
