-Guardsman- wrote: No, buddy, you did not have to share the slop that the plagiarism machine puked out for us, and I will not enjoy it. Generative AI is the death of art and creativity. It robs past creators of the ownership of their work, current and future creators of both respect and employment opportunities, and viewers of art that was shaped by the passion and pain of their fellow man. Of all the tasks we can outsource to machines, why would we choose one of the most fulfilling? More importantly, why should we be bothered to watch a movie that nobody could be bothered to make? I'm frankly insulted that you would think our standards are so low. I would rather go watch an orchestra that performs Muzak, because at least Muzak was made by humans.
GTFO forever with your tech-heresy.

Wow. Sorry bro.
Honestly that short video generation is the best guard I have seen in a while, Its not like any real people are producing anything Warhammer related on that level. Wouldn't be posting if there was something better out there. I am just more of a 40k fan than an AI hater.
Off-topic:
It kind of feels weird that you feel insulted on my behalf, as I happen to be the professional artist who you think is being robbed and whose creative future is being destroyed by the AI.
I do agree with you on some points about the AI, but unlike you I like the destruction. Before the AI, the difficulties that a beginning artist experiences trying to break into the industry and getting ABSOLUTLY bent over by the industry is akin to what the AI-generation is doing now to the past/current pro-creators. So I don't feel bad if AI made some pro-artist irrelevant, I just care as much as the industry cared about me.
Another words: Before the AI, it sucked to make a living as an artist, artist often used and/or abused by the client, and had to make sacrifices of health and relationships for the craft, and After the AI nothing changed. I do not see any major difference, it sucks as much as it always sucked, so I do not fully understand the grounds for your passion.

OP, if you think GenAI tripe is going to be a positive change to the art industry for small artists compared to how it was pre-GenAI, you're a bigger fool than I thought when you posted the video.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

Speaking of fools.
I never claimed that the AI will make "a positive change to the art industry for small artists"
You did an awesome job destroying that strawman, well done, you are not only winning at the internet but also winning at not being a fool.
For the slow, again, my position is:
"I do agree with you on some points about the AI"
"I do not see any a major difference"
"I just care as much as the industry cared about me"
How did you teased a (positive change to the art industry for small artists) out of that is beyond me.
The video is FUNNY, and Warhammer related. Why so salty?
