I noticed that if I purchase the Dark Angels Christmas box I would have everything I need to make a 2000 point army. Would this be a fun army to play as/against? I'm not much for competitive play but it's pretty much the only way I get games in this decade.

At the very least, you want to put those Inner Circle Companions together and put the Judiciar with them. They aren't that good as MSU's. You might also consider dropping both units of Deathwing Terminators and getting a third unit of Deathwing Knights, plus some scoring stuff (like scouts or perhaps Infiltrators).
