Hi, so I just started recently with Custodes and I'm having a lot of trouble making a first list. I only play casual, but I do want my list to function. This is what I'm looking at now

I know the ForgeWorld units aren't the greatest but I mostly go by Rule of Cool. Might eventually replace the Pyrithite spear squad with a grav tank, but I don't know if I want one yet.

And the sisters aren't built so I can change their loadouts

Edit: I think Im going to cut the Pyrithite spear guard and their shield captain with a 2 man squad of bikes, a bike captain with the ignores cover enhancement, and an extra allurus terminator

Don't listen to anyone says Custodes Forgeworld models are no good. You have flying tanks, and golden dreadnoughts. You are frigging awesome.

Let me think about this list for a bit, the only issue I see right now is mobility.

Yeah, Ive been worried about mobility. I was thinking maybe making the vigilators as witch seekers and a knight centura for their speed, and relying on deep striking but idk

Sorry for the delay, but how many of these models do you already own as I want to be able to build around your collection and not have you waste money.

Every custodes list can benefit from a squad of Venatari

Their Mobility and Lance make them really good. They also go thru terrain like infantry which can hold up bikes and dreadnoughts. (except for that new strat in the solar spearhead detachment)
