For those of you without a life, a Christmas battle report special!
Why is it Christmasy? It’s not the timing, as this game was actually played in early November. Nor is the location particularly Christmassyy.
It’s because poinsettias are native to the region of the Tlaxcala. That feel good (and not toxic in any way) flower of the holidays that has no connection whatsoever to Christmas, Christianity, or even cold weather, as they have to be forced to bloom in time for the cluster of solstice holidays.

This is round two of the L' Art de la Guerre, Medieval Theme, tournament at HMGS's Fall In(tm) event!
My Samurai face their traditional ? foes, the hated Cortez with Tlaxcala allies!

I have no idea what's going on, but I'm entertained by this.

Excellent work.

Thank you very much. In essence it is a blow by blow of a game using Ancient and Medieval figures using a point based game system so everything should be fair.
I took to taking pictures and in addition to circles and arrows pointing out the movement, tried to inject a bit of humor into the mix.
For instance, the word Assonance means "too many of."
There are about 800 or so players world wide that will look my game reports and judge the armies, of which there are over 300, and the tactics being used.

And, probably a bit of "seeking approval outside of myself"
