Anyone else playing?

Been having a blast - -free to play and easy to learn the basics.

Mostly Playing Luna, Magik and Psylocke but 30+ heroes means lots to try out.

I been playing a bit, mostly magik, penny, mantis, storm and moon night for a Match since I want to learn.

It’s fun, and definitely feels a bit like they take some good stuff from other games and pushed a bit further. Destruction terrain is cool, but I haven’t really learned it all enough to take advantage yet.

I’m also on the PS5, debating if I switch to PC is worth it, but then get to play much less.

I've been having fun with my friends when we play as a group and it's funny how much better this is doing compared to Concord (justified, given the character designs are waaaaaay better and there's a lot of variety in terms of the characters). I like the team up feature as it really promotes you to mix-and-match with different characters with your team mates. Right now I'm mainly playing Rocket Raccoon while my friends play Punisher and Winter Soldier, or I go for Groot when I need to be someone for the frontliine.

It does however, come with the caveat of the typical Chinese censorship for one of their online games. You can't type in anything regarding Winnie the Pooh, 1989, Taiwan, Tibet, all the usual suspects. Though I do find it hilarious you can't mention that stuff, but anything about Palestine is apparently kosher.

I don't think it matters unless they have crossplay lobbies or you're worried about ximmers.
PC will be a more even playing field, but you won't be running into sweats or cheaters as much if you're just doing the equivalent of QP or casual.

They actually allow you to be in cross play or just console when playing on console. Way better shot on a mouse i am, wish they would add gyro control but seems since Xbox doesn’t have they won’t be putting in the option.
It’s really a both are good option, and both present issues out of control without the devs adding in.

It is a lot of fun!

Yeah I play PC with a friend on PS5 - I have heard it is better optimised for the PS.

As someone who had never played similar games surprised how easy to get into it

Hero shooters tend to be easy to get into, but mastering is high difficulty. There is a lot of combos, and knowing counters and when to switch of a meta team can be quite fun to learn if you want to. But casual itself is so fun, and I hope more maps come with lots of destruction.

Yeah I am more casual than anything - also playing with friends as long as they don;t get too competitive.

New Map and Fantastic Four on friday I think plus new game modes.

If you liked Overwatch/TF2 then it’s worth giving a go !

Never really played either. Online really isn't my thing generally but this one seems accessible enough.

Mostly the big difficulty is just learning so many characters over time. Maps you can just follow others!

Also there is a button that tells you your character abilities anytime, it’s useful to know as you learn.

I am old and never played a hero shooter - but doing fine on various heroes - they have a handy difficulty rating for each one and a screen that shows how all their abilities work and suggested combos

Played Luna Snow - healer and super forgiving - played about 100 games but also tried Namor - played one learning game and then played live game - was MVP with 30+ kills....

Gave it a try last night. Fun enough. Played some Moon Knight and Cap. The former got a bit bullied by Thor but started doing better when I went for the rooftops. Cap didn't do much but never died and won the game so easy enough.

Can't say it hooked me but it was fun enough to try a few more times. I just don't think this thing is my thing, but its well done regardless.

Been playing semi regularly. Certainly one of the few times I've enjoyed a game like this. Not sure if I'm making any progress but fun to just drop in and quick play a few rounds before bed.

Pretty much the same - I play with a friend on Ps5 so we can;t play ranked not that I am that bothered about that - happy to just go on, shoot some stuff and head off.

I played some, mainly Magik.

The number one criticism I have is that feedback when getting a killing blow feels excessively minimalistic.

All I play is Venom, Moon knight, and Bucky, and I absolutely will be playing Ultron once he drops, I love genocide

Eh, it’s okay. Maybe more maps or modes? I’ve been switching between Magik and Storm, but the learning curve for some heroes is steep. Still, free to play, so can’t complain too much!
