To be 100% transparent, I haven't fielded any Adeptus Mechanicus Infantry in this Edition. So these are just guesses on my part, based on reading the Codex and looking at AdMech lists online.

My Knights take up 1,610 points out of this list, leaving 390 points of AdMech to join the fray.

I understand that the current meta says the Noble Lance is the stronger Detachment and that I should toss in an Assassin and a couple squads of Adeptus Arbites.

To me, that army just feels dumb. I can't imagine a bunch of Questor Imperialis Knights charging across the battlefield while cops try to instill law and order while an assassin lurks in the shadows.

For me I would rather field something that feels more "in universe" even if it is not as
"competitive." But I would prefer not to lose all the games I play.

Any advice you can give me would be most appreciated.
