What are your favorite tools you like to take with you to 40k games?

A nice tape measure?

I have laser pointers too, but I rarely use them.

If you are your own favorite tool is it really self deprecating? :p

Every one of my forces has the following in its case:
*Enough dice
*a # of different colored dice/tokens to represent CP, Oath of the Moment, Fate, Miricle etc as needed.
*a tape measure
*a set of templates (many of my forces can work in multiple editions. So while I don't need a flamer template in 10e40k, tomorrow when we do Heresy....)
*a legal pad & pen/pencil
*the current Codex/army book
*a hard copy of the current Legends sheets for that force
*a set of the current unit cards.

Long ago I got tired of shuffling things like dice, tape measures, templates etc between cases & invariably leaving something at home.
It's been a looong time since anyone has heard me say something like "I forgot my tape measure". Or "I don't have my template(s) with me!"
