I'm trying to replicate this Orange and Black motif for the Shackled Knights of Ryza (aka House Sidus).
For the black panels I will just prime the sections black. But what color do I Prime the Orange?
Also, what Orange do you think this is?

Are you painting in sub-assemblies, or are you building the models completely before painting?
I'd be tempted to just do it all in black for convenience. If you put down a base of a mid-brown under the orange you should find it covers well enough.
As for that specific colour - don't know! From the colour swatches I'd say it looks quite like Vallejo Orange Fire but that's only a guess.
