Im not trying to play the board game just enjoy 40k games, books, and Mcfarlane stuff. I've read about Black Templar and Blood Angels Lore, is there any other stuff I gotta do before I can serve The God Emperor, or other stuff I'd like, I found out about all the cool stuff through DRG (ROCK AND STONE) and other alien killing games.

Well, this might list a lot of what you're looking for:
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/setting/warhammer-40000/
The Menu in the top-right lists 'Reading' and 'Video Games', so potter around in there for a bit.

Luckily I know that you're referring to Deep Rock Galactic, but this site has far fewer video gamers than TTG (though there's a big crossover).

You don't need to do anything to enjoy the hobby in whatever way you see fit, just keep doing what you're doing!

What books or games have you read? Might help people recommend you others.

I've read some of the online stuff and whatever my friend had, and I've played only bolt gun and space marine 2, my friend has all the miniatures and stuff

That's a really good start! Novel-wise, if you are interested in the background of the Imperium and the space marines, you can't go wrong with the Horus Heresy. It's a very long series but the opening trilogy is a phenomenal read: Horus Rising, False Gods, and Galaxy in Flames.

If you'd rather have a more down to earth story with a real human perspective, I recommend the Ciaphas Cain series (starting with For the Emperor), or the Gaunt's Ghost series (starting with First and Only).

If you like Black Templars then **absolutely** check out Helsreach by ADB.

As far as video games go there's a billion of them but not a lot worth writing home about. You've played two of the better ones. I always recommend the first Dawn of War (Dawn of War, Winter Assault, and Dark Crusade expansions). You can get by with *just* Dark Crusade, the campaign peaks in that one. Dawn of War replicates the scale and pacing of a tabletop game of Warhammer to an astonishing degree. It is packed with so many brilliant unit voiceovers too. Those alone make it worth playing for me.
