Hi everyone,
I’ve been a long-time lurker here. I first got into miniatures in the mid-1980s and, though I never really took to playing the games, I loved modeling and painting. I still remember saving up for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader and that classic beaky Space Marine box set.
I even tried my hand at commission painting for a while, but I burned out after churning through nearly three full companies of Space Marines in just 10 months.

A few years ago, I dove into 3D printing. My original goal was to learn CAD and design custom terrain for displaying my models, but that plan took a detour—I ended up creating my own tools and equipment instead.
That’s what’s finally pulled me out of the shadows and into posting. I’m putting the finishing touches on my latest project: a modular carousel paint rack, designed to be beginner-friendly while still appealing to veteran hobbyists like me.

I’m hoping to turn my designs into a small start-up. Right now, I’m working with just two bed-slinger printers, but I’ve got my eye on expanding.
I don’t want to step on any forum rules, so I thought I’d ask—would it be okay to share some pictures of my work and get your feedback?

Hi there.
You were there when I was then, back in the late '80s, watching 40k coming into existence.
I can hardly paint one unit of Marines (or most things) at a time before needing a change. Painting so many is probably more than I have painted ever. Good going.
