Greetings,

I enjoy posting pics on Dakka immensely, but some other forums allow an easy upload directly from my phone or desktop pc. usually they limit to 3-5. Here we have to cut and paste a link, and I'm wondering if that will ever improve to being able to directly upload here on Dakka?

What do you mean? You can already post images on to a thread via the "attachments" panel.. Those picts will look a bit funny on some browsers (ie blurry potato cam tier) until you click on them, but it works as it should AFAIK..

The only limit on Dakka is that they have to be wargame/model/hobby related photos since they go onto the gallery system. So whilst you can share your latest hobby photos you can't share your pet dog photos.

I'm a bit embarrased. All this time I thought the only way to add a pic was to:

go to gallery
upload pics, name it and tag it optionally
wait for upload
open, copy Forum link
go back to post, insert
rinse and repeat...

I just used the file attachment option, it does look like the pics inserted are smaller. is that why? but still, that's much faster. Thanks everyone.

You can click on the picts to see them in their original resolution
