Hi guys,
I've been searching forever for a truly matt varnish but everything I tried turns out more of a satin-matt-slightly-glossy...
My go to solution for the last years was Army Painter Anti Shine Matt Varnish, but the last two batches I got were incredibly slime, thick and slightly glossy... Shaking didn't help. Maybe the formula changed, need something new.

Are there any paint companys out there that do an absolute matt varnish? Acrylic please and brush on. I need this to "matt-en" certain areas of figures where the paint came out to glossy, spay primer is no good here.

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've had pretty good luck with Vallejo. Just be careful not to let it pool anywhere.

AK Interactive Ultra Matte varnish is very, very matte. It's very thin though.

Thank you!
I like Vallejo and bought several flatt matt varnishes from their different ranges, but found them all lacking...
Will check out AK. Just discovered their paints a few month ago and am pretty impressed with some of their colors. Need to grab a bottle of varnish now.

I'm also quite partial to Games Workshop's "Storm Shield" Matte Varnish. It's very durable and perfect for keeping flock in place. It's a little glossy/satin though, so I do think AK Ultra Matte Varnish is what you're looking for.
