Not gonna lie, it was an instant "I'll see it when it comes out on streaming and even then I'll probably end up putting it off until it slips off streaming" moment when I saw Leto.

Under the couch

Soooo, finally watching this one, and it's... ok.

It's predictably pretty. Visuals are similar to Legacy, but with all the tech dialed up to 11. Some cool new gadgets.

But Leto is a charismaless void, which kind of works for the character he's playing, but also makes that character completely uninteresting, which is a problem when he's one of the main protagonists.

And the soundtrack is ... odd. I like NIN. And it starts out fantastic. And then they throw in relaxed, lo-fi beats for two successive chase scenes... The music is nice on its own, but takes away any sense of urgency from the action. It feels more like a music video than an action movie.

Other than that, it's a very TRON story. Rather predictable, but decent enough with some very cool visuals... if nothing (as of two-thirds of the way through) as cool as Legacy's lightcycle battle or final air battle.
