Got this model as an Xmas gift maybe 5 years ago (lol), from my sister's son. I ended up painting him trying to follow a GW paint tutorial, just to see how this would work.

It is an alpha legion dread, as we all know the AL isn't too afraid of a bit of paint.

I really appreciate when a model have a story to it.
Pretty good paintjob with neat edge highlights. I think you nailed the concept of an Ultramarine look that turn out to be a nightmare once you get up close.
