So, with the Mechanicum Knights on the near horizon (LI plastic that is), I've been thinking about doing a proper Questoris Mechanicum (rather than Questoris Imperialis) Household. Particularly as I've never been that big a fan of the "regular" Questoris knights, but I really like the look of the alternate Mechanicum chassis/armour.

As such a two part question, firstly practically speaking from the reviews etc we've seen now, is it likely going to be possible to do weapon swaps between the current Questoris and Cerastus Knight kits and the new Mechanicum chassis? And second-part, from a fluff pov is that how a Mechanicum aligned House 'should' (can?) look - e.g. using the forthcoming Mechanicum kits but with weapons from the old sprues, to make Knight Errants, Paladins, Cerastus Lancers, etc but with the Mechanicum aesthetic...? What do you think?

I honestly don't know, but I love the idea. I also prefer the Mechanicum look to knights.

Weapons mounts should be fine. IIrc any cables connect to the back of the torso, not to any armor plates. Only limiting factor is that Imperialis Knights have a top mount which the mechanicum ones lack on the carapace piece.
