Greetings fellow Warhammer players.

Question for the more experienced players,so a friend of mine and I decided to setup a 500ish game using the Combat Patrol boardsize but still using all the regular stratagems of a regular game.
I brought a 505 points with this list:

-Exalted Sorceres disk (WL)
- 5 Rubric Marines flamers (WL attached)
5 Rubric Marines bolters
- Daemon

His list of Asuryani

-Yvraine (WL)
- 5 Incubi (WL attached)
- 10 Kabalite
- Raider
- Wraithlord

So the game was of five turns and by turn three after a good start my whole army got literally wiped as Yvraine buffs and skills were brutal and the Incubi attached to her were fairly fast and nearly unkillable for my poor Rubric and even my Sorcerer didn't stand a chance.

I know this edition (10th) is not built for 500 points game as before but usually when my friend and I play at such scale it is not that unbalanced as in this game.

The question is are the Asuryani OP or are the Thousand Sons too weak or my list was simply a no match?

Any advice is welcomed.

not familiar with either army too much but I've heard Yvraine is pretty good. simply being a named character means they get to be better than the average HQ. noticeably you lack any real sort of dedicated close combat. so its not surprising you got charged and wiped. if you were to fight this list again I'd recommend getting some chaos spawn or something and buffing them with the wizard. Might help you deal with those pesky swordsmen

Eldar ARE good. But here it's really your list/choice of units.

You were completely outmatched. You brought 11 models to fight a Wraith Lord, an Epic Hero, a vehicle + 15 other models that cover shooting and melee well.
