First run of "Return of the Tripods.
I had been looking forward to running HG Wells Martians most of my life and was excited when "All's Quiet on the Martian Front" came out. Kickstarting the high-end offerings back in 2013 or 2014. Unfortunately, the makers of that game had various problems and as a business, failed. Then about 5 years ago, the rights to the rules were bought by David Pearce. An ex-Marine that wanted to put a more realistic spin on the rules. Another Kickstarter ensued, and 5 ... long ... years... later... The box showed up at my doorstep.

I have a minimal number of figures painted, enough for a bare bones play-test of the rules.

enjoy.

In the ultimate, victory through excess was cheaper than defeat without waste.

Thanks for that.

I really miss the AQMF look of the Tripods and Tanks. I still have a decent sized Tripod and American Army I use to play the old rules and other games with.

I really like the aesthetics of the new tripod designs. Glad you are getting this on the table.
