My WH40K playgroup are mostly massive fans of the Lord of the Rings, but nobody wants to learn yet another game system like MESBG on top of all the ones we know at the moment, and there's a few players who aren't as big on Tolkien. Instead, we're currently working on creating Indexes to integrate Lord of the Rings Factions into current Warhammer 40,000: 10th Edition rules. While they'll be optimised for use against each other, to allow those players less interested to keep using their normal Factions, there shouldn't be anything directly incompatible with the core game.
