For some reason I am having a problem wrapping my head around this one.
Ignoring anything that negates saves, how much more is a 2+ save worth than a 4+? How much more valuable is it?
Lets say a 4+ save is worth 5. Obviously it gives you a 50% chance of making your save.
A 2+ save on the other hand gives you about an 83% chance of making the saving throw. Does that mean it should cost about 8?
On the other hand, a 2+ means you are 3 times less likely to fail. Should it therefore cost 3 times as much (15?)
For what it is worth, One Page Rule's algorithm values a 2+ save as worth twice as much as a 4+, sort of splitting the difference.
I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts.
