Ok so I’m not the first and I hope I won’t be the last. If you don’t know what an Ork Gobsmasha is then you’re about to.

In 1991 White Dwarf 136 printed an article giving instructions and a template to build a 40k scale version of an epic scale Ork tank.

Here’s a full online write up on that.

So equipped with a printed out template and some enthusiasm I decided it about time for another Ork vehicle to join the mob.

Cobbling together enough mounting card, some thinner envelope card and a sheet of pink EVA foam I plugged in the hot glue gun and got to work.

With the addition of some PVC pipe and some masking tape the thing started to take shape.

Lots of gribbly gubbinz still to come.

Yeah buddy. Always on board for a theCrowe project.

Old White Dwarfs were the absolute bomb. Although to be fair I haven't read one in about 20 years so they might still be honestly. Maybe I'll pick one up next time I'm in my FLGS.

Got a good base and some classic inspo. Bring on the next update!

Cheers guys. Feels like getting the old band back together over here already.

Lots of detail has gone on. Mostly in pink EVA foam but you get to see the shape of it now. Nice and big and chunky! I should get some 2nd ed Goffs in for scale.

Great progress mate. The gubbinz and rivets really bring it to life!

This bad boy definitely needs some paper banners and a 4x4 roll of green felt with some books stuck under it for hills...
