Alright, I am at an odd place in my gaming - my GW Imperial Knights are fun to play with, and everyone on this forum has probably become aware of the torch I carry for big stompy robots...

BUT.

They are a pain in the ass to carry around. Sometimes, I just want to travel light and say, sure I can play a game of X, I got my stuff right here.

Are there any games/armies that I can happily construct, toss in an ammo bag, and won't snap my back in twain if I carry it from location to location.

Custodes, possibly.
They're very elite, but not Knight-sized.

Edit: Or get into Kill Team!

Edit The II: Wait, are you looking for GW games, or just any wargame?

GW seems to have the most popular games, and the game I was looking to get into (Gundam Assemble) doesn't come out until next year.

You need help with spending money?

I recommend you take the money you were going to spend on a new army, and instead put it into a no-fee index fund, and continue to dollar cost average it every pay period for the foreseeable future*

There, I helped you spend your money so you can spend money.

If you want a less serious answer.... is Death Wing still a thing?

Lots of good games with armies that fit in a lunchbox these days. MCP, Shatterpoint, Judgement and Malifaux are all solid picks in that regard. 40K can be pretty compact as well, but it depends a lot on what you play. Custodes is probably by far the smallest option.

Looking over what I own, I have Knights, some Skitarii that I bought off the interwebs to become Secutarii (they are missing heads/arms), and the inherited piece of 3dprinted piracy... that just happens to look like a Warhound Titan.

[And my AT stuff, that has no players where I live].

I was looking at kill team and perhaps picking up that Centros guy on August 9th... but I'm not sure I want to play Ultramarines/Angels of Death.

I'm looking to spend 200 bucks... since the models I was going to buy for Gundam don't come out till next year.
