I'm at a used bookstore and saw this hardback for 25 bucks.

Is it the correct book?

This place doesn't have the best return policy, so I don't want to guess wrong.

Sorry for the crummy photo, but it's balanced on my leg.

Yeah, it's the rulebook. There's only one of them. The army lists in that book (which is about half of it) are no longer current, though.

Is it worth 25 bucks? I'm one of those evil Adeptus Titanicus holdouts...

If you want to play it, sure. Opinions seem to be divided on whether it is the best Epic ruleset, though.

No one plays old edition in my neck of the woods... so I have to be current in order to play.

I hear its not as great as AT for Titan players, but I have 7 days to return the rulebook if I end up hating it.

Thanks for the help!

(Last time I didn't ask I ended up with the previous edition of the WarCry rules).

Well, you need it for the rules.
Then you need some other book now for the army lists/stats/etc.

So it's cheaper to get this used copy + that other book vs getting both books new....

Add a Liber Strategium to that rulebook and you'll be up to date. I personally regret investing in the game early on, that stuff is useless now with the updates and erratas to the armylists.. All those cards, still in their shrinkwraps, invalidated
