Former 3RD-4TH-5TH ED player, returning to the GW world with the Combat Patrol collection

I'm posting this list to expand the Marines I'm purchasing with the Combat Patrol magazine to 1000 points, wanting to keep costs low and making use of my old 5TH ED army.

First, I need a couple of clarifications:
Legends aren't used in tournaments anymore, right?
It's just the Marines that have grown. For example, are the old metal 3RD ED scouts or the plastic 5TH ED ones still in scale with the current ones?

And now the list:

Captain in Terminator Armour (95pts): Storm Bolter, Relic Weapon (Deep Strike)
Chaplain on Bike (75pts): Absolver Bolt Pistol, Crozius Arcanum, Twin Bolt Rifle

For the 2000pts, I was thinking assault terminators, some Land Raiders, a bike squad for the chaplain, and a chaplain in terminator armour for the third Terminator squad, some scouts, a Brutalis Dreadnought

I can't really help you with list building, but I can clear up some stuff for you.

First off, Legends is primarily for non-tournament playing. It's still official rules, just not "balanced for tournaments." Feel free to use then in your games.

Second, the new (2023) plastic scouts are bigger and in scale with Primaris Marines. The base went from 25mm to 28.5mm (the same as Kasrkin from the Imperial Guard).

No one should care about your older Scouts or the base size. There is a guy who uses his older scouts at a Warhammer shop and no one has said anything about their base sizes.

And if anyone says anything - ask them where you can buy official GW 28.5mm Slotta bases for your metal scouts... that will end any further griping. (As they don't exist).

Just a heads up, Infernus Marines have the Tacticus Keyword, so they can't use the Razorback (as of now only Tactical, Devastor and Scout Squads may use Rhinos and Razorbacks).
And as a dedicated transport, you wouldn't be allowed to deploy the Razorback with no unit inside.

People probably wouldn’t mind, but scale creep did hit the scouts.
