Hey Dakka, after months and months of feverish sculpting and painting, I'm proud to unveil my latest Röknaut Space Dwarf miniatures – the Exö-Squad Röknauts.

Towards the centre of the Krowntaker system, harsh solar flares smash across the surfaces of the dirigium asteroid belts. Spaceships might be able to approach these irradiated clusters of rocks – but to venture onto the surface and discover the wealth of the galaxy's azoic aeons needs the sturdiest void-hardened personal armour the Röknauts have ever engineered – the Radwolf Exô-Suit.

Ontos Games is proud to present in glorious handcast resin – 28mm scale miniatures of Rökthane Hurtzr Wârnug and his Exö-Squad.

Mini-focus:
Rökthane Hurtzr Wârnug

Hurtzr Wârnug, Rökthane of the Avenging Anvils, is the epitome of Röknaut implacability. He sees the battlefield and even nature itself as a foe to be vanquished, with his Radwolf Exö-Suit his chief ally against the lethal vacuum of space, solar radiation fields and the psycho-voids of the Krowntaker System.

Wârnug wields the double-handed icebreaker axe inherited from forebear Krald, with his wyrmbytr stowed on the rear of his suit to engage enemies at range. His rank of Rökthane is proudly displayed by the suit's banner, with the crest of the Avenging Anvils Stronghold inspiring his squad to crush their foes.

Rökthane Hurtzr Wârnug is supplied as a highly detailed seven-part resin cast kit, with an unslotted plastic 28.5mm base. Miniatures are supplied unpainted, and require assembly.

Mini-focus:
Exö-Trooper with Wyrmbytr and Silvrhand Gauntlet

The first silvrhand gauntlets were crafted in the lunar forge of the Enhexed Toll. The Rôknauts were weaponsmiths for the colossal Gýgjarans, and adapted what was originally designed for their much bigger hands into oversized fists that let them wield a disproportionate destructive power. Critically, they let the wearer retain the ability to manipulate their environment, so Rôknauts can work with tools in confined asteroid mines and switch to close-range combat in an instant.

Exö-Squad Troopers as standard are armed with wyrmbytr rifles, which they can wield single-handed thanks to the enhancements of their suit's strength and thrall-relays. The odinsight targeter is tri-wired into the suit's sensor web, giving them incredible accuracy in zero-light and rad-drenched environments.

Exö-Troopers are supplied as highly detailed five-part resin cast kits, with unslotted plastic 28.5mm bases. Miniatures are supplied unpainted, and require assembly.

Mini-focus:
Exö-Trooper with Sunstorm Rifle and Silvrhand Gauntlet

Sunstorm Rifles are scaled-down versions of the mighty Plasmic Destructor, portable enough to be wielded as a standard-issue firearm. The ring of sowilo-runes incised around the muzzle constantly sizzle as the weapon bleeds the heat of a small sun. Though sometimes issued to Bedrök squads, they are more commonly seen when the wearer benefits from the protection of the Radwolf Exö-Suit – and even then the weapons specialists fire them only at arm's length.

Exö-Trooper with Sunstorm Rifle is supplied as a highly detailed five-part resin cast kit, with an unslotted plastic 28.5mm base. Miniatures are supplied unpainted, and require assembly.

Fantastic stuff... I like the proportions on these better than the previous Roknauts. They look to have a little more leg.

Nice cartoony (in best way) style. Great painting.

I think their silhouette would benefit from nothing (no tabard or whatever it is) between their legs. I can't really tell what a couple of them have going on down there (an exhaust fan or something???), but it messes up the silhouette imo.

Looks pretty cool. I wonder if these are better sized than the last batch. IIRC, the last ones were even smaller than RT Squats!
