We hope you've all had a great Christmas!

Many of us would have received new armies over the festive period, or still have plenty that haven't been started yet!

In either case, getting them painted and on the table is the next step in having that new army ready for a game, but that can sometimes be a bit daunting!

I've written an article about how to start getting your minis painted, using some basic techniques, so that you can quickly get to playing some games!

This is specifically targeted at how I've painted a Sea People Warrior, but lots of the advice and ideas behind what I'm doing can be applied to any period or minis you have!

I'm back again with another article!

This time around, we're following on from the previous write up on how to start with basecoats on a Sea People Warrior - in under 10 minutes.

This time around, I finish off the same miniature with a series of highlights, all photographed step by step to show exactly what I'm doing.

The idea of these two articles is to show both newcomers to the hobby, and veteran gamers who struggle with painting their miniatures, how quick and easy it can be to get painted units on to your battlefield.

Even though this step by step is focused on painting a Sea People Warrior, the ideas, processes and tricks used when painting a miniature in this way are applicable to any period or miniature.

I hope you enjoy!

Peleset! Peleset!

So, to be clear is the base 10 minutes and the Finishing another 10 minutes, or is it 10 minutes total?

It's 20 minutes total, but if anyone wanted to get a 'tabletop standard' army it can be done using just the first article @ 10 minutes per mini

Got it.

Is the next installment about how to batch paint ten guys using the tricks from article 1? Just a thought.

I want to record a video for something like that I think. It might be of use to a few more people that can follow a video along easier than an article. Plus I can put my claims to the test live on video then!

The next articles will be focused on different parts of hobbying, like increasing unit size with multi-basing or how to go about creating an army list etc.

Thanks! I think it comes out pretty neat for how quickly it can be done
