But the worst part is that for some reason the Pocuter screen goes black after a couple of minutes of playing video, as if some sort of power-saving setting had been enabled.


That is gutting.

Worse there must be easier to use products out there now, like old apple iwatches etc?

I do believe there's better products now - at least in terms of support, tiny boards and screens from larger companies that have much better documentation and support. I have picked up a few promising ones and will hopefully get around to messing with them when I have time.

That would be cool. There's also circular displays; I was thinking you could make a stargate-style portal. Well, there's definitely a lot of possibilities.
