Now that the objectives themselves are the buildings and other terrain, objective markers serve merely as flags to keep track of the objectives you've claimed. They don't need to be a specific size and shape, just as long as they're visible and don't get in the way of movement. Ideally, they should also be distinctive: you have yours, your opponent has theirs.

I've never bothered to make faction-specific objective markers before, but this edition gives me a good reason to dive into my spare bits.

I'm sure I'm not the only one.
