Can a character on a chaos space marine bike master-craft the weapon mounted on the bike?

CSM characters have the option of a twin-linked bolter, flamer, melta gun, or plasma gun mounted on the bike when they purchase one from the armory.

my guess as a chaos player would be no,because i think it counts only for the rider himself and not the steed/vehicle he's on.

Only non-Daemon close combat weapons and ranged weapons found in the armory can be mastercrafted. Meltaguns, plasmaguns and flamers cannot be found in the armory.

I'd have to say no. The bike mounted weapon isn't a weapon choice in the armory. It's actually a piece of wargear (that happens to be a weapon).

K sounds good. I was just confused because it seems like that whole 4 page section is the armory, and the bike is obviously in the armory. Seemed to me the only thing they were making non mastercraftable was daemon weapons/gifts and heavy weapons. The bike entry in the armory really should be 30/20, 40/30, 35/25, but they aren't going to put all those numbers in the table.

The bike is in the Armoury, but it's not listed as a weapon.
