This is very similar to the last list I posted and is for the same tournament the last one was for. At this point it's too late to change anything (it was too late a month ago), I just wanted to get some opinions on the list I'm gonna be using.

Talk about focused. I'm impressed. I've thought of similar, I just don't trust my plasma enough to drop to fireknives thanks to BS3.

Have you thought of dropping a fish and squad and upgrading the remaining two to smartfish on crack?

I've played with sensor spines on piranhas. It's actually quite fun and useful. They start hiding in a wood or building and burst out at full speed into another piece of terrain or into strike position to attack a basilisk hiding in terrain.

I've thought of making them smart fish, but a few things have stopped me, at least for now.
Time constraints on getting more sms' have proved the main problem. Second, i've always had more than amazing luck with drones doing drone tricks and all. Things like stopping a charge from a close combat unit by hitting the squad in a spot were only 2 or 3 enemies are in the kill zone. I've won a tournament before due to a drone killing a dreadnought by hitting it's back with a carbine.

I've considered dropping one piranha to make three smart fishes but, like I said, time constraints. The lists had to be finalized by june 15th, almost a month ago. The due date was suddenly revealed like on june 13th, giving me no time to practice with it before I had to turn it in.

Well, you don't have time to change anything, but this list needs a Tetra squad. Of course you can't have that in the Necro.

And BTW CaptK. He will just make you bounce all those Immobilize results and at that point, you will finally break.

110 points for a squad of two with targetting arrays... hmm... I'm 13 points under already, drop a piranha 75, drop the disruption pods 15, that takes me to 103. Mabey I could drop the targetting arrays off of two devil fish.

How did you do in the Necro Tourney?

Nah, I used my tau. It's a two day five game tournament, 3 on day 1, 2 on day 2. Day one is over and I went 3-0-0 and got full soft scores and full battle points, so right now I'm in serious contention for winning best overall.
