For all FB and 40K players in Japan willing to come visit warm and sunny Osaka, on Sunday, December 18th, there will be another Battle Holiday held at the Chuokumin Centre for anyone who wants to play.

To get there, take JR to Osaka Station. Change to the Midosuji Subway line and ride to Hommachi. Change there to the Chuo line (should be dark green). Go one stop to Sakkaisuji Hommachi.

Take exit number three. Go straight 80 meters, you'll see the Chuokumin Centre on your right. Take the stairs to the lobby entrance. The room is probably on the third floor, and there should be a flyer on the message board in the lobby (in Japanese) giving the exact loacation.

It's 5 or 6 years too late for me but good to hear gaming is going well there.

Bah, you guys need to come north.

Well, post about games and I just might, although Osaka and Nagoya mark the boundaries of what I consider to be the worthwhile travel zone for gaming.

If I could find some people to game with up here, I'd do it. But i'm not planning on putting $400 down on train tickets to get to Osaka just for a weekend of 40K. Can't believe this. 10 years ago, there were atleast 20 players up here. Now I can't find one.

It's not even a weekend, it's just the Sunday. Either Nagoya or Osaka is three hours, and about forty dollars to make a round trip, which is about the limit of what I'm willing to give up for gaming. If I remember correctly from the old Dakka boards, you're up in northern Honshuu, which is pretty inconvinien for any players I know to try and get to.
