I like all the dropping plasma/melta death, but honestly I think that your opponent is going to chew you up one piece at a time as you come in.  The comms help, but it's really all about the dice.  Sure, some games you'll get 'em all in 2nd turn and they'll all direct hit, but other games you'll get 3 in 2nd turn and 2 in the next one, and half of them will scatter out of range or to their deaths.  This can be incredibly effective, but it's too random to be consistent.  It'll be loads of fun though, I guarantee it.

Also, what's with all the extra junk on the bassie?  The only reason to ever take one is to give it indirect fire and hide it.  Yours has no indirect fire, but it does have upgrades to help it move around.  Huh?  Also, extra armor really means nothing on AV10 open-topped.

As far as advice, I'd cut back on the special weaopn squads and add some tanks to give your opponent something else to be concerned about if you only drop a single squad turn 2.  Probably some hellhounds, because you've already got enough anti tank/heavy infantry for two lists.

Green iz best

I would switch one of the JSO units out of plasma and into flamers. When running guard I have found the combination of multiple flamer hits to be excellent in taking out clumps of marines who get through the firing line and are a thrreat.

Sorry for the miscommunication I do have inderect fire on it but I was drowsy because in Missouri it was 102 degrees and that made me drowsy. The extra stuff I put on the basilisk is to take up points.I thought about taking the flamers but the reason I don't  have the flamers in the command squad is because in our gaming group we have- a steel legion player, a mech tau player, a tank heavy guard player (who takes three tanks in 1000 pts), a Tank heavy eldar player, a Godzilla nid army and a necron player who takes a whole bunch of destroyers with a Monolith . But the only player that I have a lot of trouble with is the nid player that takes a lot of gaunts 'stealers with a Carnifex . EDIT- We also have a Space Marine player that Droppods in all of his stuff  and he takes a land raider and a predator.

I'd dink two fo the meltas on the special weapons squads for demo charges. Pie plates are cool.

When soldiers think, it's called routing.
