Ok, this is my first attempt at a tau list, ive played for about 7 years (Chaos and tyranids mostly) decided it was time for a change of style so i decided on a shooty army, hence i know have a budding tau list, remember this is my first tau list EVER.

Tactics:

The idea is that the kroot infiltrate forward and set up as a lure inside terrain, harrassing the enemy till they commit to destroying them, the stealth suits set up close by so whent he kroot fall back the SS can cover their retreat with burst cannons, at which point either the Crisis suits meet the retreating kroot and regroup to attack or i deep strike the crisis suits wherever their needed.

The firewarriors and the broadside? Fallback plan, they allow me to fall back and form a static firing line if i desperately need one and everything goes t1ts up.
