Been tinkering around with a conversion for Cadian rough riders on space marine bikes.  I hate the front end, that big front tire is probably the worst part.  So I built a new front end, used some wheels from a 1:72nd B-25, and a Cadian torso on top of the chopped off legs of a Scout biker.

Looks like a good start.

Sugestions: lose the foot pads, replace with a simple foot bar. Change the angle of the suspension to point in a more down ward direction.  Also needs a lasgun in a scabberd and saddle bags.

Malfred, thanks for posting the photo itself..... still haven't figured out how this board works totally.

I am going to adjust the angle of the front forks closer to vertical, that is a given.  I was in a rush before work to get the photo posted, so didn't put everything in the initial post. I'll start with just trimming away more of the platform surrounding the foot pads.  I thought about just doing foot pegs, but I'll see what it looks like with more of the platform removed first.  I honestly didn't want to put it on there at all, but I did need the platform on at least the first bike to set the angle between the legs and the torso.   And in this photo, the front wheel is not yet attached, plus the fork assembly is removable so that I can cast up more duplicates in resin for the rest of the squadron.

I still need to decide what to do about the hunting lances, and if I want to give these guys big spears or find something else to fill the same role that is more modern looking. Maybe satchel charges or something along those lines.

Still quite a lot to go.

For a lance maybe use a panzerfaust shaped charge weapon that fires a warhead a short distance.
