I searched for an answer to this in the forums and couldnt find it, I am really just checking to make sure I played this situation correctally. A Drop pod lands and then disembarks its troops, A Demolisher then shoots its demolisher cannon at the troops, the shot scatters, but still partly covers the marines, however the shot has scattered so that the center hole is on the drop pod. Now we assumed that both the drop pod and the troops were hit, and roled results for both being hit, however I am not sure this is correct because though I know an ordinance shot can scatter on to other targets, can a template weapon, ordinance in this case, hit two targets with the same shot? what if it was two squads? thoughts?

Minor terminology correction: Blasts are not Templates. Template weapons are weapons that use the teardrop shaped template. Blasts use the round Blast Markers.

However, Blasts that scatter will hit anything the winds up underneath the marker. Doesn't matter how many units there are, or whose side they're on.
