Hello all,

I'm getting ready to run a Post Apoc style Champions game and I am looking to convert up the players characters.  Unfortunately the limited amount of superhero figs that exist are pretty horrible and I'm looking for alternatives.  I have four players and thus far only two have finished their characters (one is a telepath/telekinetic and the other is a gadgeteer martial artist with a swiss-army gauntlet).

I was thinking a converted Death Cult Assassin would work for the telepath (assuming she doesn't mind the bondage gear) but I'm at a loss for the gadgeteer.  I'd like to stay with one company for the models to try and keep the scales similar but other than that I'm pretty open to suggestions.

The first thing that comes to mind would be Dark Age figures:

Kind of post-apocalyptic, but you might find a few useful ones in there.

Also, Infinity Games has some cool figures.  Not sure if you can get them except directly from Spain, though.

Those seem a lot cleaner for superhero types.

Here are some Dark Age we painted up:

The Dark Age Miniatures range anywhere from 26 - 54mm with an average of 32-33mm. How does that compare to the "standard" 28mm? Is the 4-5mm difference all that noticeable?

Yeah. I've got a human priest on my work table and he towers over space marines. The size is extremely noticeable... I'd stay away from them unless you're going for mutants or aliens/creatures where the size isn't a big deal. They're great minis but far too large to mix with GW stuff.
