Does anyone know where I get slates flakes like in the Urban basing kit? I will need more to complete my Guard army.

I used to pick them up from the floor, but I have enough now. There is always ample slate falling from buildings. If there are no slate roofed houses near you try a garden centre.

You can roll your own

1. Mix up some green stuff (or generic equivalent)
2. Roll it out to the thickness you desire
3. Let it dry
4. Break off pieces as needed

It costs more than finding slate, but you have more control over the thickness and supply.
