Slowly chipping away at an empire army. Since I love to convert and model, and find painting a chore, I have about 5000 points of assembled figures, and only a few painted. Here is one which I photographed recently. He is a bit glossy from a future coat, and will eventualy get a spray of dulcote to help with that.
I know his weapon loadout is even worse under 7th, but at least he has a 2+ armor save. The figure of course is from mordheim, as are most of the empire characters. Thanks GW for making a whole other game repleat with miniatures to fill the few gaps in the line of one army!

The painting on this guy is fairly basic, aside from the gold swirls in his armor, and the ridiclous number of layers of gray in his shield, neither of which you can see in this picture. The gold is there because I painted him after seeing a number of similarly decorated peices while in Paris on holiday.  I think it makes the armor look a bit more baroque.

More pictures of this chap and other miniatures in the pbase gallery linked in my signature.
