Once upon a time Dakka Dakka had a chain story forum. A chain story is started by one person, then other posters add additional posts to continue the story.

The forum was not often used, so it has now merged with Short ficion. If you'd like to start a chain story, just make a new post with a subject begining with "Chain Story:"
