Hello, just wondering whats the best way to create cargo netting for 28mm mini's, I was thinking about flattening out some greenstuff, and just dotting it with the blunt end of a drill, but I thought that might look a bit random.  Is there a scaled down version of netting that is available or can anyone recommend an alternative.

Thanks

Fishnet stocking might look right.

Otherwise just go to a train store and look around. They have everything.

You might also want to try the fiberglass mesh tape that is used to fill holes in plaster and drywall. Costs about $4 for a roll at a local hardware store.

Right behind you...

Also take a look at medical gauze. Unfold one of the pads and maybe that will be the look/scale you want. I've used that (dyed with concentrated tea) for camo netting...

You could get cheesecloth and use inks to dye it to an appropriate color scheme. Mosquito netting might also work, although I thinks it's a synthetic and might only come in white.

Yoor Speeshawl too Gawd!

For the type you usually see in old photos (with flaps on the edges) use the plastic netting included with most bags of  grapes.

Medical gauze dampened with some watered down white glue will give nice realistically sagging netting. But practise first, as you don't want glue smeared all over your model

Thanks everyone, plenty of food for thought there.
