I've been planning on getting a squad of SM Assault Termies and converting them to Khorne Terminator Champs for awesome close combat troops/converting fun. Anyway I'll post the list and yall give me your advice. 5 Chosen Terminator Champions - 230 ... Mark of Khorne x5 - 25 points ... Combi-Bolter x5 - 0 points ... Chainfist x1 - 8 points ... Lightning Claw x4 - 20 points ... Feel No Pain x5 - 25 points Total: 308 I'm not 100% sure it's right and comment/criticisms/advice is welcome, thanks much!

Khorne's sacred number is 8...better buy two boxes and block off a few more points!
Otherwise, looks interesting. Make sure you buy Teleport Homers for your walking Aspiring Champions, so the termies can come in where you need 'em. And not deviate too far to one flank and get led around by a Pirahna for the rest of the game...
According to my codex, base cost for 5 Chosen Termie Champs is 230 pts. 5 Chosen Terminators (not Champs) is 170. But you can't get FNP except on the Champs, I'm afraid.
If you're going to make them that hard, why not throw in Spiky Bits on all of them for another 50 points - you're bound to miss at least one of those 4 (5 on the charge) attacks...

I've only ever played against Khorne, and 8 Khorne termi champs with FNP are a nightmare to kill for most armies. Also, they get Blood Frenzy so if you give one of them Talisman of Burning Blood then you have a chance of over 50% that they'll run an extra d6.

Yeah I'm gonna' be making a switch for Khorne-heavy Black Legion to World Eaters soon, it won't be a hard switch, i pretty much use nothing but Khorne but haven't made the WE list yet. It'll be nice to not be lame vanilla chaos. Basically I'd get 8 of them, except for one reason... money... I'd hate to spend 50 bucks to get another box of termies and not even use 2 of them... Also I was a bit confused over whether my beastly termies would get 4 attacks or 5, stock it says they get 3 attacks as being just plain Chosen Terminator Champions, and I get another for having Mark of Khorne, but I was wondering I get a 5th for having two weapons, them being the Chainfist+Combi-bolter and the Lightning Claws+Combi-bolter...

What about 8 terminators (one upgraded for free). 2 Reaper Autocannons, 1 Combi-melta, 2 Chain fist, and FA. The Asp. Champ takes a Spawn of Chaos. It would be a nice addition if you're not planning on DS, as the SoC would allow you to sponge up a shot that would kill a termie. Yes, this is a super expensive point sink, but could be played effectively...

actually it's come to my realization that by taking only lightning claw/chainfist and a combi-bolter i only get 4 attacks. i was thinking it was a mistake for not taking two lightning claws because it shorts me an attack but i just realized that its a +5 point for one LC compared to +30 for 2. so thats a 25 point increase per model, then I looked in wargear and noticed that D. Mutation only costs 10 points yet gives me the same effect... is my logic sound?

Yes. But the question you've got to ask is - Do I want the extra attack or Do I want the extra attack and the ability re-roll failed wounds?

You certainly can. But you can't get +1 attack for 2 CCWs without a second lightning claw. A pistol, sword, or whatever won't do it.

For your Khorne Termie build yes I agree with you...although some might argue that it would be smarter not to field Khornate Terminators in the first place.

hmmm I don't see why, they're darn good, atleast in the games I've played. I mean termies are best at assault perty much... and on the plus side, they're awfully cool...

Khorne aspiring champs would be better on bikes, man. FNP, bike, daemonic armor. One with a powerfist and the rest with power weapons or khorne axes, whatever.
2+ invulnerable turboboost, then summon demons.
